Opening in a new city, country or practice area? Arrive with authority already built.

You get one launch. The firms that win a new market don’t start building visibility on day one – they arrive with local authority, language-correct content and search presence already in place.

Opening in a new city, country or practice area? Arrive with authority already built.

A new city

Opening a second office or entering a new city means building local visibility from scratch – unless you plan it before you open the doors. Our local SEO service puts the foundations in place first:

  • Location-page strategy – dedicated, genuinely useful pages for the new location, not thin duplicates of your existing site.
  • Google Business Profile expansion – the new office set up, categorised and optimised so it can compete for local-pack presence.
  • Local search signals – citations and consistent business information across the directories that matter in the new area.

A new country

Entering a new country is not a translation job. It is a new market with its own language, search behaviour and competitors.

  • Multilingual builds on WPML – our own site runs in English, Spanish and US English on the same stack we build for clients.
  • Language-correct content – written for the market, not machine-translated.
  • International SEO – hreflang, URL structure and market-specific optimisation, so each language version ranks where it should.

We built Banco Pichincha’s multilingual platform and EFQM’s five-language site, including Arabic.

A new practice area

A new practice area starts with zero topical authority – and building it takes time. Start before the first enquiry is needed:

  • Pillar-and-cluster content strategy – a structured body of content that establishes the new practice as a genuine specialism in the eyes of search engines.
  • GEO / AI-search optimisation – content structured so AI engines can cite the new practice from day one. See our Generative Engine Optimisation service.

Market Entry FAQs

Should we launch a new-market website in the local language?

Yes – and in properly written local-language content, not machine translation. A new country is a new market with its own search behaviour, and content written for that market consistently outperforms translated filler, both in rankings and in credibility with the people reading it. It is how we work ourselves: our own site runs in English, Spanish and US English on the same multilingual stack we build for clients.

How far ahead of a market launch should SEO start?

Months ahead, not weeks. Search authority takes time to build: new pages need to be indexed and earn trust, Google Business Profiles need history, and content needs time to establish topical authority before the first enquiry is needed. The firms that win a new market arrive with visibility already in place – which means starting the search work well before the doors open.

Do we need a separate domain for a new country?

Usually not. In most cases a language or country folder on your existing domain, with correct hreflang implementation, lets the new market benefit from the authority your main domain has already earned. There are exceptions – some markets, brand structures or legal setups justify a separate domain – but that is a decision to make deliberately as part of the market-entry plan, not a default.
